Wayne is BSH’s resident ‘Elvis’. In spite of full-time employment, he is always there for our meetings and events. Over the years he has expanded his repertoire of Elvis songs to include some not so well-known titles which members old and new, have embraced with fondness. Wayne is great at evaluating the general atmosphere and audience mix of an event and tailors his performances accordingly, like a true entertainer. No need to don a suit or a wig at our club meetings, casual is good! But the leather and white suits are there for formal events, as required!
In true Elvis fashion, Wayne just wants to have fun and above all make his audience happy!

Shaky Russell Shaheed

Shaky became hooked on Elvis from age five and has been honing his skills ever since, performing for BSH members and music fans both local and from far afield at Emperor’s Palace, The Barnyards, The Balalaika Hotel and other venues. As well as his non-stop, ready to rock stage shows, Shaky is a professional voice artist, MC, producer, entertainment co-ordinator and vocal announcer.

Tommy Gloss

Tommy is a singer, DJ and entertainer and has been part of the South African music scene
for over 50 years. He has performed at several establishments, especially in the South of Johannesburg and is a regular at Fern’s Sports Bar in Primrose. As Tommy says of the industry he loves:
‘My favourite parts are the people and their faces when you perform. You can make people laugh and you can make people cry. It is a way to truly make people happy.’

‘I do a live performance consisting of a tribute to Elvis Presley and other legends of music ranging from the 50's to the 70's. My objective in each and every show, big or small, is that the music I have the privilege of singing has touched each and every person attending the show with emotional happiness whether it be nostalgic, something different, or simply a really good night out!’
